Anu Peshawaria is an internationally awarded Indian American Attorney, social activist, and Author. She has expertise in both Indian laws as well as US Immigration for over 25 years. She has served as the First and only Legal Advisor to the embassy of India to US.

Blurring the lines between attorney, author, social activist, entrepreneur and community leader, socially awarded Anu Peshawaria is a pioneer in Indian American laws and Immigration. Besides doing her law in India and US she has an Executive Management Degree from Stanford University as well. She is a practicing attorney for the Supreme Court of India and has handled several high profile public interest litigations. She is the founder of Seva legal aid a 501 (c) (3), which is devoted to the advocacy, and protection of legal rights on a global scale.

Anu is the recipient of a variety of prestigious awards for her tireless dedication to the human and legal rights of immigrants. Among some of the major ones are Award of Excellence For her service & dedication for spreading social awareness and upholding immigrant rights awarded by Secretary of State and Consumer Affairs, State of California USA in 2012, Hind Rattan award, Pravasi Samman Award by Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, Outstanding Community Leadership Award: presented by the Mayor, City of Fremont, California, AFMI award of excellence awarded by the American Muslims of Indian Origin at Long Island New York, Extraordinary Ability status granted: 2000 - by USCIS United States of America

She is an Author of several books on Immigrant Rights in the US including “Lives on the Brink, Bridging the chasm between India and United States” and has received much acclaim. She has also served as the first Legal Advisor to Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Govt Of India, Embassy Of India Washington DC and all Indian consulates in the US situated in New York, Chicago, Houston and San Francisco.

Mr.Hardeep Sachdeva is a partner of AZB & Partners which has offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune. With more than 17 years’ experience in corporate, M&A, he advises Indian as well as international clients and is consistently rated as India’s leading corporate and M&A lawyer.

A leading practitioner in the field of M&A and corporate law advisory across several sectors including retail, health care, technology, real estate, hospitality, education, infrastructure, insurance, alcoholic beverages, automotive components and other industrial products, Mr.Sachdeva has been associated with several landmark M&A and private equity investment transactions in such sectors and has done pioneering work.

Mr. Sachdeva has been actively advising on various acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments and other funding transaction within and outside India in both listed and unlisted companies across various industries and sectors. Mr. Sachdeva advised on structuring of investments/transactions from a regulatory and tax perspective, transaction structuring for convertible instruments carrying fixed or preferential distribution rights, structuring involving differential voting and dividend and distribution rights securities. Mr. Sachdeva has been advising private equity and other investors on their investment strategies in India and involved in drafting and negotiating transaction documents for such investments and re-structuring of companies. Mr. Sachdeva advised on several restructuring of investments through multiple structures including swapping the investments in projects and exercising put/call options.

Mr. Hardeep Sachdeva has been a member of governmental and other industry committees. Mr. Sachdeva was admitted to the Indian Bar in 1995. He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi and Delhi High Court Bar Association.
