Dr. Pooja Kapoor

Dr. Pooja Kapoor did her Honors in Political Science from Delhi University in the year 1995.  She had completed her Masters in Political Science in the year 2000. She was awarded with the Doctor of Philosophy in the year 2003 before making a foray into academics.

She worked in an NGO named All INDIA WOMEN CONFERENCE in the capacity of the Programme Officer for the Rural Development (October 2002 to September 2004). She then joined INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, NOIDA and taught Political Science and Sociology. She served Institute of Management Studies Noida for four and a half years (October 2004- July 2008). She then worked withan educational e learning company EXTRAMARKS in NOIDA for more than  two and half years in the capacity of HOD (Political Science), before moving to Symbiosis Law School, Noida in 2011.

Her area of research was Custodial Violence of Human Rights with special reference to Custodial Deaths. She has been an active member of Sokka Gaaki International society.  She works towards creating human values among the children in any circumstances and contribute to the well-being of others in order to bring the “human revolution”. She believes in working inventively for the enhancement and betterment of the kind of education given today.
