Moot Court Competition

2nd ASCENT Moot Court Competition, 2013 | July 13, 2013

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA is a culture of knowledge and nurturing. It strives towards supplementing reforms in the field of law; to groom students to become the unified face of our legal fraternity, to produce knowledge disseminators and to produce individuals who are the torchbearers of the legal system of the country. Our effort is aimed at producing an intellect that believes in reforming rather than punishing and has the potential of hoisting the flag of truth and justice in an unfailing manner.

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA strives to inculcate research aptitude in learners by constantly acquainting them with historical judgments, Case analysis/discussions and legal web bases. Mooting is one of the prime means of this learning environment. It is an activity of arguing a common hypothetical legal problem in a courtroom environment, which in turn enables the learners with courtroom etiquettes and advocacy skills. It also enables them in cultivating Research, Drafting and Pleading skills.

Mooting as an activity is taken care by the Moot Court Society, Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA. It is a team comprised of Symbians - faculty and our alumni visualizing, supervising and assisting at every step in dealing with varied aspects of mooting and culminating the same for the learners at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA. (To know more about the meaningful efforts of the Moot Court society, visit http://symlaw.edu.in/achievements-cc/moot-courts).

In continuation of our strive for the strengthening the foundations of learning of law, the Moot Court Society, Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA has organized Second ASCENT Moot Court Competition on July 13, 2013 between 08:00am-03:00pm at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA.

‘ASCENT Moot Court Competition’ is a fixture of ‘Internal Elimination’ round for the selection of our own students to represent SLS-NOIDA in all ‘National, Institutional and International Moot Court Competitions’ that takes place during the period July 2013 – July 2014.
