Celebrating its 44th anniversary, the Akron Law Review is a scholarly legal publication of The University of Akron School of Law that produces an annual volume of four issues for use by scholars, practitioners, and judges. In 2010, the Akron Law Review was ranked #39 out of over 200 ABA-accredited and major foreign general, student-edited journals on the Washington and Lee impact rankings (based in citations per issue). This is the fifth consecutive year the Akron Law Review was in the top 50. We accept articles on all issues. Prior symposiums have focused on professional responsibility, summary judgment, complex litigation, elder law, judicial elections, and education law. Members of the Akron Law Review contribute to the publication by editing the articles selected for publication and by writing their own notes and comments. By editing selected articles, staff members improve their own editing, writing, and citation skills while being exposed to different areas of law. The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board oversee the selection, editing, and publication process.

Our story began more than 100 years ago. That’s when the Indiana Law School was founded as part of the newly minted University of Indianapolis. In 1936 the school merged with the Benjamin Harrison Law School. In 1944 the school became affiliated with Indiana University and received a new name—the Indianapolis Division of the IU School of Law. The following year, the school moved into the Maennerchor Building, an architectural landmark in Indianapolis that housed the school until 1970.In 1968 we became autonomous and were renamed the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis—a name we kept until being renamed the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2011.
The "Journal of Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology" is the official publication of the Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, published annually since 2001. Dr. R. K. Gorea writes "Mortuary is one such place in our country which is the most neglected site of the hospital usually at most of the places". Who is to be blamed? We have to do some introspection. The most important thing in my mind come that probably we have never asked our hospital authorities to provide us within trained and educated assistants. At most of the place we rely mostly on the untrained illiterate peons or sweeper. This is the scenario which needs to be changed. At least forensically trained nurses or pharmacist should be employed in the mortuaries and if they are not able we should train them. We should not lag behind and should try to implement the new ideas and make our mortuaries like operation theatre to protect ourselves, our staff and public from highly communication diseases like AIDS, hepatitis, etc.

Johnson, the Michigan State University Journal of Medicine and Law is a biannual publication dedicated to advancing legal scholarship in the medical-legal field. Although the look and the membership of the Journal have changed throughout the years, the mission of the Journal has remained the same. The imperative of the Journal was and is to enrich medical-legal scholarship by encouraging doctors, attorneys, professors, and students to publish well-reasoned and thought-provoking articles on cutting edge and controversial topics in the health law field. The Journal also seeks to influence judicial opinions, legislation, and public policy development in both Michigan and on a federal level
