Achievements

Moot Courts

Mooting as an activity aims to inculcate and improve the research, presentation and argument talent into students so as to equip the budding pleaders with all the court room etiquettes, research experience and advocacy skills. At Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, it is a key co-curricular activity wherein the presentation skills and talents in argument of students are screened and further notified about their level in the competition on regular basis. This initiative is well supported and effectively carried out by dedicated Moot Court Society. Success of effective learning through moot court activity is evident from the following performances of mooters selected and thereafter participated in various national/international moot court competitions:

10th National Moot Court Competition: Organized by Institute of Law, Nirma University and the Competition Commission of India from April 16th - 18th, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Rishika Somani, Third Year Learner, Anusha Tiwari and Aurin Chakraborty, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged ‘Quarter-Finalists’ in the competition.

The rounds had taken place virtually due to the pandemic. The top 8 teams out of around 40 teams competing in the prelims, had qualified to the Quarter-Finals. The moot proposition was based on Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law, intertwining it's various jurisdictional issues.

4th Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME) National Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by Delhi Metropolitan Education, NOIDA in association with SS Rana & Co. from April 09-11, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Ananya Dhawan, Shreya Tewari and Aryan Rajpal, Second Year Learners participated in the competition.

Ms. Ananya Dhawan won the award for ‘Best Speaker’ amongst 60 speakers along with a cash prize of Rs. 4,000/- and, Mr. Aryan Rajpal won the award for ‘Best Researcher’ amongst 30 researchers along with a cash prize of Rs. 4,000/-.
The moot problem was based on Patent Law and Cyber Law.

6th GNLUMSIL Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar from April 2-4, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Pranav Dwivedi, Shwetank Neelabh and Mehak Nayak, Fourth Year Learners participated in the competition and won ‘Best Memorial Award’.

Team SLS-NOIDA for Best Memorial Award also received a cash prize of INR 10,000.

32 teams all over India participated in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to pandemic. The Moot problem was based on Security Law, Merchant Banking Regulations and Prohibition of Insider Trading Act and Companies Act. Primary issues of the problem were regarding the issue of IPO, merchant bankers duties and maintainability of class action suit.

22nd D.M. Harish International Online Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by Government Law College, Mumbai, India, in association with the D. M. Harish Foundation from March 27-28 March, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Anmol Mathur, Marvel Soni and Vaibhav Jeswani Fourth-year Learners, participated in the competition and were adjudged as ‘Quarter-Finalist’.

TA total number of 18 teams across the world participated in the competition and the oral rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot problem was based issues relating to Public International Law, highlighting the emerging legal landscape of Space Law and Use of force.

9th R.C. Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by St. Soldier Law College from March 25-26 March, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Apoorva Sharma, Rupinder Kaur and Devansh Pandit, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and were ranked as ‘Quarter Finalists’.

32 teams across India participated in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The Moot problem was based on Constitutional Law.

9th RGNUL National Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by RGNUL, Patiala from March 19-21, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team – Mehak Nayak, Fourth Year Learner, Ayushi Sinha and Dhrusha Rupinya, Third Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged as ‘Semi-Finalists’.

This competition was scheduled to take place in March 2020 but had to be postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Around 40 teams across India had participated by submitting their memorials in 2020.

The problem was based on Constitutional and Criminal Laws with respect to human reproductive cloning and therapeutic cloning practices in India.

3rd National Moot Court Competition, 2021 (Lex Communique – National Law Fest): Organized by Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law, Mumbai from March 12-14, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Anushka Praveen, Lisa Sankrit, and Meenakshi Singh, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged as ‘Winners’.

Team SLS-NOIDA has been awarded with a cash prize of INR 10,000, along with a certificate of merit and a trophy.

28 teams across the country participated in the competition from various national law universities and other law schools.
The moot problem was based on Sections 300, 304, 120-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and also, dealt with the aspect of honor killings prevalent in the country.

2nd NLUJ Deal Mediation Competition 2021: Organized by National Law University, Jodhpur from March 12-14, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Prachi Pandey, Trishnagi Kulshrestha and Vidya Kakra; fourth year learners participated in the competition. Ms. Prachi Pandey was adjudged as the “Best mediator – Prelims”.

32 teams from all over the India participated. The rounds were held virtually due to pandemic. The participants were given 6 different problems to be solved in the mediation and the negotiation round.

3rd Jagganath Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by JIMSEMTC University, Noida from March 12-14, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Akarsh Tripathi, Aakshat Khetarpal, Sonvi Agrawal, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged ‘Runners-up’.

The team was awarded a cash price of INR 21,000 along with the trophy.

24 Teams across India were invited to participate in a Memorial Selection Round. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot problem was based on the Constitutional Law vis-a-vis bail provisions of special legislation. it also included other subjects of media trial and the DSPE Act.

1st National Trial Advocacy (Virtual) Competition, 2021: Organized by Kerala Law Academy, Thiruvananthapuram from March 10-11, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team – Aprajita Tyagi, Samia Haider and Saniya Khanna, Third Year Learners participated in and were adjudged ‘Winners’.

Team was awarded with a cash prize of INR 10,000/-

30 teams across India were invited to participate upon a Viva-Voce - Preliminary Round on Indian Criminal Law out of which 10 were shortlisted for the Oral Pleading Rounds. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic.

The Mock Trial Advocacy problem was based on Sections 34, 201 and 302 of Indian Penal Code, 1860.

1st HPNLU Virtual Moot Court Competition: Organized by Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla from February 27-28, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Girish Ahuja, Ojoswita Dey and Soorya Bala, Fourth-Year Learners, participated in the competition and were awarded Best Memorial and a cash prize of INR 3,000.

18 teams all over India participated in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to pandemic. The Moot problem was based on Constitutional Law.

9th RMLNLU SCC Online International Media Law Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow in association with SCC Online and EBC Reader February 26-28, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team – Ms. Aaditi Bose, Ms. Devanshi Tiwary and Ms. Ishita Goyal, Third Year Learners, participated and were adjudged 'Runners Up'.

SLS-NOIDA Team was awarded Trophies, E-certificates and a cash prize of INR 15,000/-.

32 teams across India were invited to participate upon a Memorial Selection Round. The moot problem was based on international law and its nuances including territorial sovereignty, the jurisdiction of a country to prosecute another country's citizens under domestic defamation statutes and the right to freedom of speech and expression of internet intermediaries under international covenants.

Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition, India & Asia Regional Rounds 2021: Organized in India by Amity Law School, NOIDA in association with International Law Students Association (ILSA) on February 27-28, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team – Ms. Purnima Mathur, Ms. Aiyushi Sahani, Fifth Year Learners; Mr. Arjun Sahni, Mr. Rhythm Katyal, Fourth Year Learners, entered into the finals and were adjudged ‘Winners’.

Philip C. Jessup is one of the oldest moots in the world. Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA will now represent India-Asia in global rounds.

In the India - Asia Regional Rounds (virtual), 60 Teams across India and South Asian Countries participated in this prestigious moot. The Case Study provided was based on varied issues ranging from validity of entry regulations during global pandemic to violation of international law in case a country shoots down a civil aircraft.

62nd Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, 2021 – World Rounds:Organized virtually by International Law Students Association (ILSA) from the 6th March 2021 to 18th April 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Purnima Mathur, Aiyushi Sahani, Fifth Year Learners and Arjun Sahni, Rhythm Katyal, Fourth Year Learners, entered into the Run Off Elimination Rounds (Top 48) at World Rounds.

In the World Rounds, 600 Teams from more than 60 countries participated in this prestigious moot. The team first cleared the Preliminary and then the White & Case LLP Advanced Rounds to enter into the top 48. It faced teams from Poland, Japan, United States of America, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Spain, Germany, Canada, Brazil, and Finland. Around 50 teams from India had taken part, out of which only 7 (including Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA) had made it to the Run Off elimination rounds.

The Case Study provided was based on varied issues ranging from validity of entry regulations during global pandemic to violation of international law in case a country downing of a civil aircraft.

14th ProBono Enviro National Moot Competition, 2021: Organized by School of Excellence in Law, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University from the February 18-21, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Rishika Somani, Shraddha SS and Nandini Gupta, Third Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged ‘Quarter Finalists’.

30 teams across India were invited to participate in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot problem was based on the principle of absolute liability as applicable to essential service providers in the case of pandemics. The moot proposition focused on aspects of environment law, constitutional law and criminal law.

25th Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition (India Rounds), 2021: Organized by Jindal Global University, Sonipat from February 12-14, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team- Mr. Rishabh Uppal, Ms. Anushka Agarwal and Ms. Ashabari Basu Thakur, Fourth Year Learners were adjudged ‘Semi-Finalists’.

Ms. Anushka Agarwal was also adjudged as the 'Fourth Best Speaker' in the Competition.

A total number of 24 teams from across India participated in the said Competition. The rounds were conducted virtually and the judges were from four different time zones. The moot problem was based on the conservation of bats in pursuance of biodiversity and climate change objectives. Additionally, it also dealt with taxation and labelling standards in International Trade.

30th KLA Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by Kerala Law Academy, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from February 10-13, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team – Ms. Trisha Singh Naulakha, Mr. Kaustubh Shrinarain, and Mr. Vakush Garg, Fourth Year Learners entered into the Finals and adjudged as ‘Runner Up’.

Team received a cash prize of Rs. 50, 000/. Ms. Trisha Singh Naulakha was adjudged as ‘Best Lady Advocate’.

A total number of 42 teams participated in the competition. The moot problem was based on the constitutional validity of an Act passed by the State Legislature to curb the dissemination of 'fake news' via online media, on grounds of legislative competence and violation of Art. 14, 19, and 21 of the Constitution of India.

3rd Bennett National Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by School of Law, Bennett University from February 05-07, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team – Ms. Tiasha Gupta, Mr. Vijay Krishna and Mr. Shivam Bansal, Second Year Learners entered into the finals and adjudged as ‘Runner Up’.

Team was awarded with a Trophy and a cash price of INR 25,000.

28 teams across India were invited to participate in the competition. The oral rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot problem was based on the Constitutionality of regulatory concerns regarding OTT platforms. The Competition aims to dwell upon this relationship between Law and Technology and its implication on the legal system.

III Surana & Surana and UPES School of Law National Insolvency Law Moot Court Competition 2021: Organized by UPES School of Law, Dehradun with the aid of Surana & Surana International Attorneys from January 29-31, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Ojoswita Dey, Gunjan Sable, and Girish Ahuja, Fourth Year learners participated and adjudged as ‘Runners Up’.

Team also won the ‘Second Best Memorial’ Award and awarded a cash prize of INR 2,500. Ms. Gunjan Sable and Ms. Ojoswita Dey were adjudged as ‘Third Best Student Advocate’ and ‘Fourth Best Student Advocate’ respectively.

30 teams all over India participated in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to pandemic. The moot problem was based on Constitutional validity of Section 10A of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code concerning personal insolvency process, Validity of Spectrum inclusive in the CIRP of the Telecom Service Providers, Scope of Operational and Financial Creditors in the leasing of land, and challenging the validity of the unsuccessful resolution plan.

5th National Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad from January 8-10, 2021

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA Team – Anusha Tiwari, Vedika Gagrani and Aurin Chakraborty, Second Year Learners participated and were adjudged as ‘Winners’.

Mr. Aurin Chakraborty was adjudged as the ‘Best Speaker’ and was awarded a cash prize of INR 10,000. Team SLS-NOIDA was awarded with a sum of INR 50,000 for being the winners.

20 teams across India were invited to participate upon a Memorial Selection Round. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot problem was based on the intricacies of Data Privacy Laws and various provisions of the Data Protection Bill, 2019 (that was supposed to be construed as an Act as per the moot proposition) were challenged.

Shri IM Nanavati National Moot Court Competition, 2021: Organized by Gujarat Law Society’s Law College, Ahmedabad from January 8-10, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team – Kaustubh Shrinarain, Vaibhav Choudhary and Vakush Garg, Fourth Year Learners participated and won the 'Best Memorial Award'.

The team received a cash prize of Rs. 25000 cash prize along with a trophy.

The moot proposition was based on Constitutional Law and Environmental Law pertaining to Eco Tourism and Sustainable Development.

2021 Edition of International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition for Asia-Pacific Region: Organized by the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) and The International Committee of Red Cross, New Delhi (ICRC) on January 7, 2021

Symbiosis Law School Team - Priyanshi Rastogi, Aditya Raj, Fourth Year Learners and Manisha Dubey, Third Year Learner participated and adjudged as ‘Runner Up’ in India Rounds.

The moot problem was based upon International Humanitarian Law in relation to cyber-attacks and non-state armed groups. Team SLS-NOIDA participated in the Competition via Online Submission.

6th Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organized by Manipal University, Jaipur with the aid of Ranka Charitable Trust from 17-18 December, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Prachi Pandey, Trishnagi Kulshrestha, Fourth Year Learners and Mitali Khatri, Third Year Learner entered into the Semi-Finals and made it to top 4 Teams.

Trishnagi Kulshrestha was adjudged as the "Best Student Advocate" at the Competition.

42 teams from all over the world participated. The rounds were held virtually due to pandemic. The moot problem was based on Rights of Consular Access of detainees in host nations under International law.

1st Justice Dipak Misra National Moot Court Competition, 2020: an initiative of 'The Advocates league' in collaboration with 'Advani & co.' from November 27-29, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Ananya Dhawan, Aryan Rajpal and Shreya Tewari, Second Year Learners, participated and adjudged ‘Semi-Finalists’.

The competition witnessed participation from 30 recognized law colleges across the country and the team was adjudged as semi-finalists, thereby ending up in the top 4 teams after clearing 5 rounds.

The moot problem was based on Constitutional law with special emphasis laid on the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 and the Fundamental rights of non-citizens.

2nd Wildlife Protection Government Law College National Online Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organized by The Government Law College, Mumbai in association with the Wildlife Conservation Trust & the Initiative for Climate Action from November 27-29, 2020

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA Team – Anmol Mathur, Marvel Soni and Vaibhav Jeswani, Fourth Year Learners participated and adjudged ‘Runners Up’.

A total number of 16 teams across India including several National Law Schools participated in the competition and the oral rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic.

The moot problem was based on the Forest Rights Act, 2006 and Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 focusing on Conservation and the Rights of Traditional Forest Dwellers.

Maharaja Agrasen 1st National Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organized by Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, Department of Law (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) from November 26-28, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Anushka Tripathi, Lisa Sankrit and Minakshi Singh, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged as ‘Winners’.

The team was awarded with a cash prize INR. 20,000 along with One Year SCC subscription and internship at the Chambers of Adv. Jayant Bhatt.

42 teams across India including national law schools participated in the rounds which took place virtually. The moot problem was based on Article 32 and Article 136 of the Constitution of India along with multiple provisions from Criminal Law.

1st Adhivakta Parishad National Virtual Criminal Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organized by the Delhi High Court Unit of the Akhil Bhartiya Adhivakta Parishad from November 06-08, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Mr. Shivansh Tiwari, Ms. Devyani Kukreti and Mr. Pradyumn Amit Sharma, Third Year learners participated in the competition and were adjudged as 'Quarter-finalists'

Mr. Pradyumn Amit Sharma was adjudged as ‘Best Speaker’.

40 teams across India participated in the Moot Court competition. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The Moot problem was based on criminal law and included the applicability of the Indian Penal Code, 1860; the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973; the Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985; the Arms Act, 1959; and the Indian Evidence Act, 1872.

11th School of Law, CHRIST University, Bengaluru National Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organized by School of Law, CHRIST University from November 5-8, 2020

Symbiosis Law School, Team – Ms. Aaditi Bose, Ms. Devanshi Tiwary and Ms. Ishita Goyal, Third Year Learners, participated and were adjudged ‘Winners’. The team was awarded E-certificates and a cash prize of INR 25,000/-.

Ms. Devanshi Tiwary was adjudged as the ‘Best Speaker’ and was awarded a cash prize of INR 5,000. Ms. Ishita Goyal was adjudged as the ‘Best Researcher’ and was awarded a cash prize of INR 5,000. The team also bagged the ‘Second Best Memorial’ award.

A total of 36 teams across India participated in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot problem was based on the constitutional validity of orders passed under the Disaster Management Act, Centre-State relations in reference to the GST Council, insertion of Article 279 A under the 101st Amendment Act, 2016, and the ambit of Governor’s Speech.

National Client Consulting Competition, 2020: Organized by Kerala Law Academy from November 5-7, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team - Tiasha Gupta and Vijay Krishna, Second Year Learners, participated in the competition and were adjudged ‘Quarter-finalists’.

34 teams across India and other countries participated in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic situation. The competition included client problems revolving contract law, banking law, tort law, criminal law, etc.

Inter University Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organized by K.R. Mangalam University, Gurugram on November 2-3, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Samarth Suri, Shriya Sehgal and Shailza Agarwal, Second Year Learners, participated and adjudged as ‘Winners’ and Mr. Samarth Suri was also adjudged as the ‘Best Mooter’.

The oral rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic with many law schools participating in this national-level competition.

The Moot Problem was based on Constitutional Law and Family Law.

10th Checkmate National Moot Court Competition: Organized by Army Institute of Law, Mohali from October 30 – 31, 2020

Symbiosis Law School, Team – Mr. Kaustubh Shrinarain, Mr. Vaibhav Choudhary and Mr. Vakush Garg Fourth Year Learners entered into the Finals and adjudged as ‘Runners Up’. The team was awarded a cash price of INR 10,000.

36 teams participated in the competition from across India. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic.

The moot proposition was based on admissibility of Stolen Electronic Evidence, NARCO Analysis and trial under Section 302 and 316 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

1st D.P. Gupta Virtual Trial Advocacy Competition, 2020: Organized by joint collaboration of Lex Legisia Law Firm and J.P. Sharma and Associates in association with Institute of Professional Studies, Roorkee, Uttarakhand from October 30 – November 1, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team - Stuti, Vidya Kakra, Fourth Year Learners and Harsh Garg and Aditya Singh, Third Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged as ‘Quarter Finalists’.

36 teams participated in the competition from across India. The rounds took place virtually due to the global pandemic.

The moot preposition was based on admissibility of Rape, Forceful Miscarriage, Grievous Hurt, Cheating, Criminal Breach of Trust under section 376, 313, 325, 406, 417 and 420 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and section 3 (1) (u),(w) and 3 (2) (vii) of the SC and ST Act, 1989.

1st National Online Med-Arb Competition, 2020 (NOMAC): Organized by Christ University, Bangalore from October 30 – November 1, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team - Apoorva Sharma, Shivam Bansal and Lakshay Solanki, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and progressed to preliminary rounds in Arbitration/Mediation competition and were adjudged as ‘Quarter Finalists’ in Client-Advocate (or counsel pair) round.

16 teams in total were invited to participate upon a Memorial Selection Round followed by oral rounds. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot problem was based on ‘alternative dispute resolution between an e-commerce company & it's former employee’.

National Virtual Moot Court Competition: Organized by Lawinternships in association with Attharva Legal, from October 30 – November 1, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team - Sonvi Agrawal, Aakshat Khetarpal, and Krati Fagna, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged ‘Quarter-Finalists’.

30 Teams across India participated in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot court problem was based on the Indian Penal Code and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Shri N J Yasaswy 5th Memorial Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organized by ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad with the aid of the Lexknot from October 16-18, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Rishika Somani, Shraddha SS and Nandini Gupta, Third Year Learners participated and adjudged as ‘Winners’. They were awarded a cash prize of INR 5,000.

20 teams across India were invited to participate in the competition. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic.

The competition was based on two sets of moot propositions, for different stages. The problem for the two preliminary rounds and the quarter finals was based upon the application of the principles of Market Dominance, Predatory Pricing and Cartelisation under the Competition Act, 2002. The problem for the semi-final and final rounds was based on the validity of the removal of an Executive Chairman, and issue of Rights Share under the Companies Act, 2013.

S.K Puri Memorial International Moot Court Competition - Justified 2020: Organized by Law Centre-II, University of Delhi from October 15-18, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Pranav Dwivedi, Shovit Betal and Uditanshu Singh, Fourth Year Learners, entered into the finals and were adjudged as 'Runners-Up'. Mr. Uditanshu Singh was also adjudged as ‘Best Speaker’ of the Competition.

The competition was scheduled to be held in March 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Competition got rescheduled and the Oral Rounds were held virtually from October 15-18, 2020. A total number of 24 teams from across India, including several National Law Universities & International teams participated in the competition.

The moot problem was based on the Principles of International Commercial Contracts, United Nations Convention on International Sale of Goods (CISG) & Law of Arbitration

Kourtology 2nd Model Virtual Court Competition, 2020: Organized by Kourtology in collaboration with Whitespan Advisory from October 9-11, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Devvrat Singh and Lakshay Solanki, Second Year Learners participated and adjudged as ‘Semi-Finalists’ thus finished in top 4 Teams. It is commendable that it was their first participation in a Moot Court Competition at National Level.

30 teams across India participated whereupon 12 teams were invited after clearing the Memorial Selection Round. The rounds took place virtually.

The moot problem was based on Right to Privacy apropos the contact tracing application introduced by the Government of India- The Aarogya Setu App.

Symbiosis Law School Team - Ananya Dhawan, Aryan Rajpal and Shreya Tewari, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and were adjudged ‘Quarter Finalists’. Ms. Shreya Tewari was adjudged as the Best Researcher and was awarded USD 50 along with a one-month internship at Trans Law India Associates (TILA), Head Office, New Delhi. All three participants also secured 50% scholarships for Electricity Laws Online Certificate Course by Dr. Gopal Energy Foundation.

The moot problem was based on International Investment Dispute and International Arbitration.

1st JECRC National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2020 (Mono Advocacy): Organized by JECRC University (Rajasthan University) in association with Path Lexis – September 26-27, 2020

Symbiosis Law School Team – Samarth Suri, Second Year Learner participated in the competition. The rounds were held virtually and Mr. Samarth Suri was adjudged as the ‘Best Advocate’ and awarded a cash prize of INR 3000.

More than 50 teams across India participated in the competition. The moot problem was based on the constitutional validity of the Preventive Detention Act and the extent of reasonable restrictions under Article 19 of the Indian Constitution.

7th National Law University Odisha Bose & Mitra & Co. International Maritime Arbitration Moot, 2020: Organized by National Law University, Odisha in association with The Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law, Swansea University, United Kingdom – August 20-23, 2020

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA Team - Ridhima Sharma, Fifth Year Learner and Harshil Wason and Arif Mustafa Hussain, Fourth Year Learners, participated in the competition and were adjudged ‘Semi-Finalists’ in the competition. The rounds were conducted virtually due to the pandemic situation. The team also won the ‘Best Memorial Award’ and cash prize of INR 15,000. The award was presented by ‘The Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law, Swansea University, United Kingdom’.

A total number of 20 teams from across India participated in the oral rounds after qualifying the memorial selection rounds. The moot problem was based on a refrigerated cargo claim arising out of a BOXTIME Charterparty.

18th Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot, 2020 - Asia Pacific Round: Organized by the Hong Kong Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross in collaboration with The University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong - July-August 2020

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA comprising of Purnima Mathur, Fifth Year Learner, Diksha Joshi, Fourth Year Learner and Amira Dhawan, Third Year Learner, participated in the 18th Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot- Asia Pacific Round. The team was invited to participate after winning the National as well as the Regional Rounds of the competition, held in September 2019 and December 2019, respectively.

Team SLS-NOIDA ranked 'Second' post competing against 23 teams from countries across East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim, and progressed into the Advanced Rounds. The Team secured a prize for "Best Memorial-Defence".

The competition was conducted virtually and consisted of a Preliminary Memorial Selection Round. Only the top four teams, who cleared the preliminary round, qualified for the Advanced Round.

The team was invited to participate after winning the National as well as the South Asia Regional Rounds of the competition, held in September 2019 and December 2019, respectively. The moot problem was based on Difference of War Crimes and Crime against Humanity and was being adjudicated by the ICC.

13th NALSAR Justice B.R. Sawhny Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organized by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad with the aid of the Bodh Raj Sawhny Memorial Trust from August 1-16, 2020

Apekshit Raj Singh, Tanmay Diwan, Fifth Year Learners and Harsh Gupta, Fourth Year Learner participated in the competition where Harsh Gupta was adjudged as the Best Researcher and was awarded a cash price of INR 5,000.

32 teams across India were invited to participate upon a Memorial Selection Round. The rounds took place virtually due to the pandemic. The moot problem was based on the Constitutional validity of the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019, Constitutional Amendment inserting Art. 21B making Right to Work a fundamental right, validity of administrative powers of the Chief Justice of Supreme Court and whether the fees of the lawyers ought to be regulated.

11th NLU Antitrust Law Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organised by the National Law University, Jodhpur from March 13-15, 2020.

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA Team - Mr. Ishu Gupta, Ms. Bhavyanshi Dariya, Third Year Learners and Mr. Naimish Tewari, Second Year Learner entered into the Finals of the competition and were adjudged ‘Winners’.
A total of 42 teams from across India, including several National Law Schools, participated in this competition. The moot proposition was based upon the validity of wide parity agreements and the question of material influence, which can be exerted by an investor in detriment of competition in a relevant market, in light of the provisions of Sections 3 and 4 of the Competition Act, 2002.

The Team received a prize of INR 45,000/- along with a one-year subscription to SCC OnLine and EBC. The team members also earned an internship each with the law firm ‘Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas’.

10th M.K. Nambyar Memorial National Level Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organised by Karnataka Law Society's R.L. Law College, Belagavi, Karnataka from March 13-15, 2020

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA Team - Mr. Harshvardhan Singh, Ms. Feba Bovas, and Mr. Kartik Aggarwal, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and was adjudged semi-finalist.

A total number of 34 teams from across India participated in this competition. The moot problem was based on the constitutional validity of electoral reforms brought about by the impugned Ordinance and a Constitutional Amendment.

Mr. Aman Shankar, Ms. Shrishti Vatsa and Ms. Vanshika Arora, Third Year Learners, participated in the 5th NLIU Justice RK Tankha Memorial International Arbitration Moot, 2020.

The Team made it to the Quarter-Finals. A total number of 44 teams from across India, including National Law Schools and few international teams participated in the said Competition. The moot problem was based on International Commercial Arbitration dealing with UNCITRAL Model Law, CISG and SIAC Rules.

24th Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition 2019-2020 (India National Rounds): Organised by Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat - February 14-16, 2020.

Mr. Mohd. Ahzam and Mr. Arjun Sahni were adjudged Second and Third Best Student Advocates, respectively.

12th GNLU International Moot Court Competition, 2020: Organised by Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar - February 12-16, 2020

Ms. Ananya Singh, Mr. Aakash Jeph, Fourth Year Learners and Ms. Anushka Agarwal, Third Year Learner entered into the Finals and were adjudged ‘Winners’. Ms. Anushka Agarwal was adjudged as the Best Speaker for the final rounds.

A total number of 52 teams from across India and abroad, including several National Law Schools and colleges from across the globe participated in the said Competition. In the finals, the team went up against University of Southampton, England. The moot problem was based on International Trade and Economic Law, WTO, GATT, GATS & Data localisation Law.

The team won Rs. 50,000 cash prize, internships at Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys (LKS) and also at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe. The team also won an opportunity to participate in the World Trade Institute Summer Academy 2020 and in the Joint Academy on International Trade Law and Policy 2020, along with Merit Certificates.

29th All India Moot Court Competition, 2020 for Kerala Law Academy Trophy: Organised by Kerala Law Academy at Thiruvananthapuram - February 6-8, 2020

Ms. Ananya Singhal, Mr. Kushagra Jain and Ms. Ritam Khanna Second Year Learners entered into the Finals and adjudged ‘Winners’ of 29th All India Moot Court Competition, 2020 for Kerala Law Academy Trophy. The team won the prestigious rolling trophies and the home trophy along with a cash prize.

A total number of 18 teams from across India, including several National Law Schools, participated in the said Competition. The moot problem was based on challenging the constitutional validity of the 'anti-superstition' Act.

2nd Galgotias University National Moot Court Competition (Paperless Moot), 2020: Organised by School of Law at Galgotias University - January 24-25, 2020

Ms. Nikita Saria, Mr. Anirudha Ghosh, and Ms. Manisha Dubey, Second Year Learners, participated in the competition and were adjudged 'Runners-Up' of the Competition. Ms. Manisha Dubey won the 'Best Speaker Award'.
The Competition had memorial-selection round in which 20 teams were selected from across India for pleading rounds. The moot problem was based on Artificial Intelligence in relation to criminal liability under Patent law with aspects of Constitutional Law.

13th Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition, 2020 (India Rounds): Organised in India by Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration and NILS on January 19, 2020

Ms. Aiyushi Sahani, Mr. Parth Sharma, Fourth Year Learners and Mr. Rhythm Katyal, Third Year Learner, cleared the India National Rounds of the competition. SLS-NOIDA is amongst the top six teams to represent India at the International Rounds wherein top teams from countries across the world will compete in Frankfurt, Germany from March 2-6, 2020. (The international round had to be cancelled to prevent spread of the coronavirus.)

In the India National Rounds, 20 teams from across India participated in this prestigious moot. The case study provided was based on real-life, historic incidents involving Investment dispute.
 

15th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2019 (South Asia Rounds): Organised by the International Committee of the Red Cross, Geneva at Kathmandu School of Law, Nepal - December 10-12, 2019

Purnima Mathur, Fourth Year Learner, Diksha Joshi, Third Year Learner, and Amira Dhawan, Second Year Learner, were invited to participate in the Regional Rounds of the prestigious after having won the India Rounds in September 2019 at Indian Society of International Law (ISIL). The Team entered into the Finals of these Regional Rounds and was adjudged ‘Winners’.

Team SLS-NOIDA has won the ticket to Asia-Pacific Rounds, 2020 and would represent South-Asia at the Asia-Pacific Rounds. Purnima Mathur received the 'Best Speaker Award' shared with the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

8 teams from across South Asia; 2 teams each from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Pakistan, were invited to participate in the Regional Round. The moot compromis was based on contemporary challenges of International Humanitarian Law with respect to nature of armed conflicts and jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court over non-state parties in trans-boundary crimes.

8th IBBI-National Corporate Moot Court Competition, 2019: Oganised by National Law Institute University, Bhopal from December 6-8, 2019

Pranav Dwivedi, Shovit Betal, and Uditanshu Singh, Third Year Learners, participated in the competition and entered into the Quarter-finals. Shovit Betal won the 'Best Speaker Award'.

A total number of 18 teams from across India, including several National Law Universities, participated in the said Competition. The moot problem was based on Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and Companies Act, 2013.

3rd Surana & Surana RGNUL International Law Moot Court Competition: Organised by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Punjab in association with Surana & Surana International Attorneys – November 15-17, 2019

Varalika Sengar, Ananya Singhal and Ritam Khanna, Second Year Learners, entered into the Finals and were adjudged ‘Winners’. The team also won the 3rd Best Memorial Award. Ms. Ritam Khanna was awarded the ‘Best Student Advocate Award’ and Ms. Varalika Sengar won the ‘2nd Best Student Advocate Award’. The team won trophies, Winner’s Certificates and a cash prize of INR 15,000. Ms. Ritam Khanna won a trophy and cash prize of INR 5000.

A total of 16 teams from across India, including National Law Schools participated in the said competition. The moot compromise was based on International Humanitarian Law and Law of the Seas.

Vidyul Dayal, Third Year Learner, Saraswati C. Rawandale and Navya Nanda, Second Year Learners participated in the competition and reached the ‘Semi Finals’. The team also won the ‘Best Memorial Award’.

A total number of 24 teams from across the country participated in the competition, where the moot proposition was based on the intersection of big data and competition law.

Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition, 2019 (North Rounds): Organised by Surana & Surana International Attorneys and the Law School, University of Jammu – October 4-6, 2019

Sana Banyal, Uditanshu Singh and Pranav Dwivedi, Third Year Learners participated in this trial advocacy competition and were awarded the ‘Fourth Best Memorial Award’.

A total of 16 teams participated in the competition. The competition was based on a Sessions Trial format with students conducting examination in chief and cross examination on the charges of abetment to suicide.

5th Manipal Ranka National Moot Court Competition: Organised by the Manipal University, Jaipur in association with Ranka Foundation – September 28-30, 2019

Shubhansh Thakur, Third Year Learner, Shefali Priya and Sakshi Mody, Second Year Learners entered into the finals of 5th Manipal Ranka National Moot Court Competition, 2019, and were adjudged ‘Runners-Up’ of the competition. Shubhansh Thakur also won the ‘Best Student Advocate Award'.

A total number of 25 teams from all over the country participated in the competition. The proposition was based on varied aspects of corporate and commercial laws, like Prevention of Money Laundering, Arbitration, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Contract Law, and Drugs and Cosmetics Law.

26th M.C. Chagla Memorial Government Law College National Moot Court Competition: Organised by the Government Law College, Mumbai in association with the Chief Justice M.C. Chagla Memorial Trust – September 28-29, 2019

Meerika Bareja, Fourth Year Learner, Harshil Wason, Third Year Learner and Aniruddha Ghosh, Second Year Learner entered into the finals of the competition and were adjudged ‘Runners-up’.

The competition was open to top 16 teams invited from law schools across India. The proposition was interplay of religious freedom and right to privacy under the Constitution of India, and the matter was a Writ Petition to be adjudged by the Supreme Court.

19th Henry Durant Memorial National Moot Court Competition: Organised by International Committee of Red Cross and Indian Society of International Law - September 19-22, 2019 at New Delhi

Purnima Mathur, Fourth Year Learner, Diksha Joshi, Third Year Learner, and Amira Dhawan, Second Year Learner entered into the finals of and was adjudged ‘Winners’ of the competition. The team also won the ‘Best Memorial Award’ (tied with Nirma University).

In the India National Round, 45 teams from across India participated in this prestigious moot. The proposition was based on the International Humanitarian Law including cyber warfare in an International Armed Conflict being adjudicated by the International Criminal Court.

SLS-NOIDA will be representing India at the Regional Rounds of the competition wherein top two teams each from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Iran and Pakistan compete to qualify for the Asia-Pacific Rounds of the moot.

7th National Moot Court Competition: Organised by Institute of Management Studies, Unison University, Dehradun, September 19-21, 2019

Mannika Gupta, Third Year Learner, Ayushi Sinha and R. Dhrusha Rupinya, Second Year Learners participated in the national level comepetition and reached the ‘Quarter-Finals’.

A total number of 35 teams from across India participated in the said Competition. The moot problem was based on Administrative Law and Constitutional Law.

9th UFYLC Ranka Moot Court Competition: Organised by the University of Rajasthan in association with Ranka Foundation – September 14-16, 2019.

Ishu Gupta, Bhavyanshi Dariya, Third Year Learners and Naimish Tewari, Second Year Learner entered into the Finals and adjudged ‘Winners’. The team also won the 'Best Memorial Award'.

A total number of 38 teams from across India, including several National Law Schools, participated in the said Competition. The moot problem was based on the constitutional validity of the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 and Aadhaar Regulations.

Team was awarded with Winner’s Trophy, Certificates and cash prize of INR 10,000/-. Team also won the Best Memorial Award and awarded with Trophy and cash prize of INR 2,500/-.

10th Christ National Moot Court Competition: Organised by School of Law, CHRIST Deemed to be University - September 13-15, 2019.

Aiyushi Sahani, Parth Sharma, Fourth Year Learners and Rhythm Katyal, Third Year Learner, participated and entered into the ‘Semi-Finals’ in the National Level competition.

A total of 42 teams from across India, including several National Law Schools, participated in the said Competition. The moot problem was based on the constitutional validity of the amendment to the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act,1967 and Section 69 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

8th RGNUL National Moot Court Competition: Organized by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala - August 16-18, 2019

Akshita Upadhyay, Raghav Dembla, Fifth Year Learners and Amrita Dubey, Fourth Year Learner entered into the Finals of the competition and were adjudged ‘Runners-Up’.

The moot problem was based on the constitutional validity of Exception 2 to Section 375 of the IPC, 1860 that deals with the issue of marital rape. A total number of 46 teams from across India, including several National Law Schools, participated in the said Competition.

The team received a trophy, certificates and cash prize of INR 15,000/-. Additionally, Purnima won a trophy and cash prize of INR 7,500/- as best speaker.

The competition was based on Animal Welfare Law and Constitutional Law. 48 teams participated nationally and only 16 teams qualified for Oral Rounds upon clearing the Memorial Selection Round.

Ashabari Basu Thakur, Aman Shankar and Anand Kamal entered this competition based on Cyber Law alongside 23 other teams from across India. Aman Shankar was adjudged Best Speaker and Ashabari Basu Thakur was adjudged 2nd Best Speaker at the Competition. They won trophy and Certificates. Aman Shankar also won a cash prize of INR 7,500/-. The team however, could not proceed beyond the preliminary round.

The team also won Best Memorial Award with a cash prize of INR 3,500/-. Aman Chachan also won 2nd Best Advocate Award with a cash prize of INR 5,000/-.

The Moot Problem was based on Criminal Law where teams from 20 law schools competed in a Sessions Trial format in the preliminary rounds and in the Criminal Appellate format at the advanced rounds.

Shri I.M. Nanavati Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2019: Organised by Gujarat Law Society's GLS Law College, Ahmedabad - January 18-20, 2019

Devanshi Rungta, Anvi Jha and Shrishti Vatsa (Second Year Learners) participated in the competition and were adjudged as Winners. The winning team won INR 2,25,000/- (two lacs twenty-five thousand rupees) alongwith a trophy and first position certificates. 32 teams participated in the competition including CNLU and RMLNLU.

Our team defeated School of Excellence, Chennai in quarter-final round, Shastra University in semi-final round and CHRIST University in the Final Round. The moot problem was based on traditional knowledge and Biodiversity Act specifically access and benefit sharing regime for India.

As a matter of policy, the law school does not keep any portion of the cash prize received by Mooters. This time as well, the team received the entire amount after deduction of Tax at source.

The aim of the competition was to create awareness on the law of International Investments and facilitate the evolution of investment law through the jurisprudential and comparative analysis of the existing law and the consequential emergence of new laws.

The principal objective of the competition is to develop an increased awareness and interest in IHL in academic institutions throughout South Asia. A further objective is to use IHL to further academic excellence in the student community, and to develop their advocacy skills in an environment of friendly competition.

The moot problem was based on principles of International Humanitarian Law and was dealt in the Pre-Trial Chamber instead of the usual Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court. The competition was conducted in a paperless manner. In total 38 teams participated in the competition.

The annual Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition, held in honour of Mr. Nelson Mandela, was first held in 2009 at the University of Pretoria and is hosted by the Centre for Human Rights with support from various donors. Held over a four-day period, it brings together undergraduate law students from all over the world, who argue a hypothetical human rights problem. 100+ teams all over the world register, 25 teams amongst them (5 from each UN Region) on the basis of memorial submission are selected to participate in the World Rounds, 2 teams progress to final round and one becomes world champion.

This year the 7th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition was held from December 8 – 10, 2015 at the OHCHR headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, in collaboration with the Regional Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Southern Africa (ROSA) and OHCHR, Geneva.

Best part is that their memorial was chosen to be the ‘Second Best Memorial’ in the said competition where in in total 41 teams participated. They missed the ‘the Best Memorial’ by 0.5 marks.

Ramaiah Memorial 5th National Moot Court Competition organized by M S Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore on March 21-23, 2014. The team got 4th position amongst 44 participating teams in the competition.

Mr. Jayashree Parihar was declared and won the ‘Best Speaker’ award, which is her third best speaker award in a row. The SLS NOIDA team also received mention for exemplary research and lost best memorial just by one mark.

6th GNLU International Moot Court Competition, 2014 – Gujarat National Law School, Gandhinagar

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA represented by Team consisting of Mr. Aman Verma, Mr. Ashutosh Nagar, and Mr. Aman Khare, Third Year Learners, has made it to ‘Quarter Finals’ and been ranked 5th (the fifth highest marks) out of a total of 48 teams that participated at GNLU International Moot Court Competition 2014 organised by Gujarat National Law School, Gandhinagar.

They broken through the prelims, sweeping two consecutive wins (from both respondent and complainant) while also ensuring that their scores were high enough to get us into the quarters. Out of 48, 15 teams had two wins but only those with the highest marks were included in the top 8 for entering the quarters and Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA was one amongst them.

Interestingly, last year as well SLS NOIDA team entered into the finals. Hope to make better next time to be ‘Top Two’ amongst the participating teams.

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA represented by Team consisting of Mr. Harshit Manaktala, Mr. Ananya Pratap Singh and Mr. Sankalp Singh, Third Year Learners, reached the final and declared ‘Runner Up’ in Pratibimb National Law Fest- Moot Court Competition 2013 organised by Barkatullah University, Bhopal on November 26-27, 2013.

Importantly, it was their First ever national or international moot court.

It was the first appearance of Mr. Saksham Gogia, Mr. E. Shreyas and Mr. Rounaq Joshi in any National or International Moot Court Competition.

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, represented by Ms. Jasmine Mallick, Ms. Shambhavi Shukla and Mr. Arihant Jain, Third Year Learners, participated in 13th Raj Anand IP Moot Court Competition, 2013 organised by Anand and Anand in association with Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA. They were adjudged amongst the four best teams participating in the Competition. As we were coorganisers, team did not go to Semi Finals rather opportunity was given to the next team in order of merit. Further the team received rave views for its memorial.

We are further delighted to inform you that Ms. Jasmine Mallick missed the top spot of ‘Best Speaker’ just by one mark. Many may not know that it was Ms. Jasmine’s first moot court competition.

Mr. Rishi Bansal, Mr. Anshul Duggal and Mr. Shashank Dixit, Second Year Learners, were adjudged 'Runner Up' at the Verdict Moot Court Competition, A National IP Patent Moot Court Competition, organised by Rajiv Gandhi School of IPLaw of IIT-Kharagpur on February 01-03, 2013. Interestingly, only Best Eight Teams from India were selected in the Memo Selection Round.

Second All India Jus Amicus Moot Court Competition 2012 - Saveetha School of Law, Saveetha University, Chennai (December, 2012)

Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA represented by Mr. Aditya Sharma, Mr. Rishi Bansal, and Mr. Kamal Taneja, Second Year Learners, are declared the “Winners” at the Second All India Jus Amicus Moot Court Competition 2012 organised by Saveetha School of Law, Saveetha University, Chennai, on December 13-15, 2012. The team won the Third Prize for the ‘Best Memorial’ and Mr. Kamal Taneja won the Third Prize for the ‘Best Researcher’. In total, 32 teams participated in the event.

Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, 2012 (June 2012)

This year 61 teams from the four regions namely, North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa registered for the 2012 Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition. The regional champions at the World Finals would compete in October in Naples, Italy.

The structure of the competition for the Asia-Pacific Regional rounds includes two-tiers in the competition i.e. memorial round and Oral round. As per the plan for 2012, after memorial round, total number of teams for oral rounds from the Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds is limited to 18 and not more than forty percent of the total number of teams selected for the oral rounds can be from one country i.e. maximum of 8 teams from India. One of the eight teams is Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA represented by Ms. Jaishree Parihar, Mr. Pooja Vohra and Mr. Mikhil Vij, First Year Learners from Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA. SLS, NOIDA came amongst top 13 in Asia Pacific at the end of oral rounds.

Twenty Third All India Moot Court Competition, Kerala Law Academy- Trivandrum (February 2012)

Mr. Ashutosh Updadhyay, Ms. Vanita Bhatnagar and Ms. Shruti Srivastava, First Year Learners, Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA were judged Second Best in the memorial round of Twenty Third All India Moot Court Competition organised by Kerala Law Academy, Trivandrum.. They just missed the first spot by 0.5 marks.
